so my question is this why in their story did they change KCD2 official sales number to a player count so they could make a comparison to shadows players counts??? to make shadows look good the number they changed was 2 million copies sold in just under 2 weeks to 2 million players in two weeks so shadows would look successful so why did they lie ??
they changed KCD2 sales number in their story to a player count KCD2 never had a player count it was a sales tweet. they did this to make it look like shadows was more successful . that is outright lying publishing misleading information

Shadows is officially the best launch since Valhalla; however, as this next article accidentally makes clear, it hasn't sold well on PC:

Only 27 percent of business is coming from PC during a time when it isn't unusual at all for over 50 percent of business to come from PC.

KCD2 isn't available on any subscription pass as far as I'm aware, so sales and players should be equal. So it isn't lying nor is it particularly misleading. It is at most lacking nuance, but the point that Shadows is a hit still stands regardless.

Ubisoft want players as the game is built around a cash shop, and is structured in such a way to make players either grind for mats or pay for them on the shop. Games with shops always hide the best items behind an extra cash amount.

I wish I could go back 20 years or so to a time the best items were in the game and you had to be good enough to get them, not just pay for them.

What is worse, to me, than even the items in the shop, are the XP and money boosts. Say you made the game an insufferable grind without saying you made the game an insufferable grind.

I don't like fact you can't kill or even injure anything that is literally one level ahead of you. So no chance of getting ahead of story as everything in the zone will be invincible to you.
Seriously, stay in your lane and grind before you can get to next level, to repeat process.

I wouldn't be playing anyway but really. Most games let you at least attempt to kill things early... this game just puts up a stop sign until you done your chores. It also doesn't help there isn't a great variety in the chores in every level. But then AC fans should expect that by now.

I have to check back one day and see if any speedruns of it. Surely they will find a way. Not watching a 25 hour video of entire game.
