I am thinking the best idea is to just buy old things, as at least they don't flood you with advertising
Imagine paying 5k for a fridge and then have it show ads to you... pass.
I am lucky, I can still block most adverts so I really don't know what its like for people who use Chrome.

The only times I see ads on Youtube is when it doesn't see my logon. So I know better than to watch any on discord.

I thought my monitor was playing up watching this as what he described as RGB was OGB to me
Title image shows Blue, Green, Red but if you watch video at start it clearly shows Blue, Green, Orange
I think something faded on the Red tube
Red when tube is off:
Orange when on:
within a minute of one another.
could be normal but its not Red, its Orange. Expect images created by projector could look slightly wrong in colours.
takes self out back and slaps him... I have a red lava lamp, it is orange when you project light through it... i had forgotten lol.

looks nice, wonder how much it weighs. No way you could hold a crt monitor in one hand like that... for long anyway.
I don't miss heavy thick crt screens really. I can carry my 32 inch screen under my arm, no way I could have done that with the last CRT display I had... 20+ years ago.

Probably around 4-6KG, I don't think it was much heavier. I tried Internet Archive, came up with nada.

One of the most impressive and CRAZY skateboard stunts I have ever seen. If that jump was not crazy enough for you, He JUMPED several times over the gap which was even more dangerous, not to mention the stones/dirt up on the water tower. I also included the legend himself, Jeremy Wray talking about it in the second video for those who want more context and info about the legendary stunt.

Since it is soon Halloween and all, I thought I'd throw in a TV series recommendation, and that is IT: Welcome to Derry. Watched the first episode; the second is coming tomorrow. The first episode was both gory and creepy, definitely in the spirit of Steven King's IT! It's got some pretty dark stuff, so obviously perfect to watch while drinking some cocoa hiding under a blanket.

And, you know what? It really IS intimidating. I remember in the second episode of Doom, finding tons of missile launcher ammo and heal boxes and thinking I was in real trouble. Sure enough: cyberdemon.
