Elden Ring and Baldur's Gate 3 have entered my top played games this year. Distant Worlds 2 moved way up. A little experiment in XCOM2 put it past X:Rebirth and a partial replay of TroubleShooter pushed it up past BattleTech and Skyrim.

Anyone else have updates?

Another year almost gone. Its been a good one for games, but not so much has moved in my most played according to GOG Galaxy.

The only new entry is The Last Spell, a really good tile based tactics game that I will likely play more of at some point. Crusader Kings moved up a little and I played a bit more Baldurs Gate 3 and Against The Storm, Otherwise its quiet in the top part of my most played list.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is the new game that came closest at 44 hours, and I probably doubled my playtime in Hades bring it up to about 50 hours. Other than that I have Hell is Us at 30 hours and the King is Watching about the same.

Hows about you all?

Well, I only played one game this year so my list so short I don't need screenshots
Slormancer
In a perfect world it would also include Sacred 2 remastered but its only on 12 minutes. Maybe its me and its controls were always like that... and 13 years has made me forget... maybe I try Sacred 2 Gold and check.

1 Torchlight 2 1312.7 hours (still)
2 Grim Dawn 1167.6 hours (still)
3 Slormancer 729 hours
4 Last epoch 583 Hours (still)

next game only 200 hours and not worth mentioning as I won't be playing it ever again.

Doing a course all year is my excuse for only playing 1 game so far. Inbetween again.

I removed some of the games where the numbers were way too inflated (I did not play 200+ hours of Loop Hero), but some of the games on here still have more hours than I put in. I'm pretty sure my wife has played a significant amount of hours of Civ V and Sunless Sea on my account, while my kid played a lot of Pikuniku and A Short Hike.

The new additions this year are Barotrauma, Middle-Earth: Shadow of War and Backpack Hero.

Baldur's Gate 3 should be on this list as well with almost 100 hours now, but I don't play it through Steam so its hours weren't tracked.

I somehow lost almost half an hour of playtime in Civilization V compared to last year. Maybe it got rounded up last year, but I did play quite a few hours just a few days ago, so I'm not sure what's up with that.

EDIT: I realised any games I played through Steam's family sharing aren't included either since they don't show up in GOG Galaxy under "Owned Games".

So Rimworld should be in this list with 172.5 hours, Conquest of Elysium 3 with 75 hours and Cyberpunk 2077 is a new entry with 50.5 hours.

The only ones in this list that I put some time into this year are Total War Warhammer 3 and Satisfactory. I guess that TWW3 passed Vermintide 2 this year. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Dune Awakening and Monster Train 2 entered this list in the coming year.

Warframe
TOTAL PLAYED
3,550.6 hours

Total War: WARHAMMER II
TOTAL PLAYED
1,361 hours

ATLAS
TOTAL PLAYED
878.2 hours

Forza Horizon 5
TOTAL PLAYED
782.4 hours

Total War: WARHAMMER III
TOTAL PLAYED
752.3 hours

Warhammer: Vermintide 2
TOTAL PLAYED
732.4 hours

Satisfactory
TOTAL PLAYED
695.5 hours

I've missed these threads in previous years so I don't have a way to compare but there are a few things that I know.

I finished Yakuza 0 earlier this year, so that entered this list. Also, DayZ jumped up a few spots, it was either behind FO4 or ESO, not sure which one. I played a ton of GTA 4 recently since I've been modding it throughout the year, so that has jumped up a few spots as well. Insurgency Sandstorm got a good 15 or so hours from me this year, so that went up a bit. Besides that, every other game on this list has gone unplayed this year, besides maybe 2-3 hours of RDR2.

Your regular guys wont be surprised i am naming satisfactory as my number 1 game.
I currently have 5,200 hours logged on it on my latest playthrough.
I have not used it at all for about 4 months as i have run out of things to do.

The only other games i have used in between satisfactory are..
Viking rise valhala
Cipheur
Chicken police into the hive
Blood west
Just started using age of mythology retold

No Horizon: Forbidden West, @mjs warlord?
Hi @Zloth until you mentioned it i had forgot that i bought it at a reduced price on epic and i dont have much in epic interface so i guess thats why i forgot about it.

I looked through my unused list and i got the 4 desponia games , hades 1 and 2 , disco elysium , dispatch and forbidden west. In all honesty i cant see them adding anything new to satisfactory so i will be working my way through the list.

my last personal milestone on satisfactory was my 600th drone port .... no mods in the game

I was going to the the japanese and chinese packs for aom retold but they are £14 EACH and i only paid £22 for the main game so i dont think i will be getting those. ......... cash cow
I just picked up the Standard edition last night and I see that they have a premium edition upgrade currently on sale for $12.99 USD. Take a look at that, it's the cheapest way to get the new packs.

I spent the entire year playing RDR2, Stardew Valley, and Sims 4. Just like last year.
I'm currently replaying my 4 year old save on RDR2. I have around 200 hours on this save alone and I'm only on Chapter 3! I'm doing a lot of the challenges, hidden and secret items, collectables and stuff like that. I like picking up the game again every few months just to goof around in. I'm also trying to get my honor as low as possible, though it's making me feel bad sometimes like killing horses just to reduce my honor rating lol.

Killing horses?! You're terrible! Clear out the entire population of Valentine, Strawberry, and Van Horn, but leave them horsies alone! (I have killed them before when I chucked dynamite at moving wagons. One time it was hilarious, too. These guys started shooting at me in St Denis, so I followed them all the way to Lagras and then attacked.) I just keep playing chapters 2-4 over and over again, and ocasionally go through 5 and 6.

One of my favorite things to do to reduce my honor is to go shoot up Butcher Creek. Almost the entire town will start fighting back, but you don't rack up any bounty at all for killing them. I guess backwoods country folk aren't considered a part of society. Though I do love getting into fights with this guy.

Pretty much. We rednecks only exist if we get to causing problems or Uncle Sam needs us to fight in his wars. I've never shot up butcher creek, though I have run like hell out of there when I ran over a goat or whatever and they all came after me.
