Hello! I'm planning to build my first ever PC so I'm completely new to the scene, although I've tried to do as much research as possible.
I'd like some feedback on my plan, to make sure I'm getting good value. Most of the games I play rn don't need that much power (silksong, rainworld, celeste) however I do really want to be able to play games such as Reanimal, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and Baldur's Gate 3 without my computer blowing up
-Budget is £1500 (around $2000) excluding RAM
-Focusing more on functionality (gaming and sometimes drawing) than aesthetics
-Already bought the RAM, I ordered it before Micron announced the shutdown of crucial
-Have a preference towards AMD since I've heard it's good for Linux and I want to try it out sometime
-I do have a partspicker set up but it gets flagged as a 'suspicious link'
  • AMD Ryzen 7 7700X (£223)
  • gigabyte AUROS WATERFORCE II (£75)
  • MSI B650 gaming plus wifi atx am5 motherboard (£134.5)
  • Klevv CRAS C910 1TB M.2 2280 (£80)
  • PowerColor Hellhound OC Radeon RX 9070 (£560)
  • Phanteks XT PRO ULTRA ATX Mid tower case (£75)
  • MSI MAG A750GL PCIE5 750W fully modular ATX power supply (£80)
  • Asus ProArt Display 27" 75Hz monitor (£200)

    Running total- £1427.5
If any other information is needed please ask, I'll try my best to provide! Sorry if this isn't the place to ask this sort of question, lmk if not
