You want to change your RAM to 3200Mhz so that you aren't bottle necking the cpu. I'd have went with a different psu other than the CV series but with that said there's worse out there.

If you want to save a few quid than here's a build to have a look at. Check Amazon for the free shipping.

the main issue you'll have with a self buid is getting the parts, especially the GFX card, might be better off checking several websites for the best pre built one cost wise

All the parts are source at the moment I’m also in no rush for it I want it as a project…

is this motherboard similar to the one I listed??

Thanks

Yes they are both 500 series motherboards so they both support the same chipset etc. There might be some small specifications to look for that fit your needs, ie more usb ports, more nvme ports etc.

Your build looks pretty good. I would def. try to get the GPU first before any other parts.

Okay bud thanks! I just hope I can build it hahah but it seems quite self explanatory… do I have to download windows via a memory stick??

thanks

I would have run it differently.

So your saying it won’t fit in the case I’ve chosen?
I’ve done my research on the mother board and cpu and it says it’s compatable and if anything it’s more than what you need…

thanks

It fits but you're spending money where it shouldn't be spent if this build's main purpose is for gaming. Put that money towards a larger SSD or better graphics card. Gaming is all about Frames Per Second.

Okay

what about this one? Bit smaller the mobo fit?

so you agree that ones good?

also why are you against the motherboard and cpu?
Would like to hear views if that’s okay I’m new to this and curious….

thanks
That board is expensive. You want to put that money towards performance. That Asus board is going to get your ZERO more FPS.

£389.00 3900x.

Here's a goal to shoot for ... fit this card in your budget even if you have to rework your build. You want a 650w psu for this card.

GIGABYTE EAGLE RTX 3060 TI OC £699

Look at the benchmarks for 1080P.

what motherboard
Yippee, welcome to the forum and best of luck with your new PC :)

I recommend you put together a build at PCpartPicker.com—it should help organize your thoughts and avoid you needing to ask multiple times about the same few parts.

Why_Me has given great help, but even he must be finding it difficult to figure out what parts combo you're talking about in later posts—I know I haven't the remotest idea! :D

okay thanks

Any motherboard I choose comes up with a warning? Will I just need to update when system is running?

this is the warning “Some AMD B550 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Vermeer CPUs. Upgrading the BIOS may require a different CPU that is supported by older BIOS revisions”

thanks
