I would definitely take the Lenovo here. It's built great and will likely last much longer than Asus, MSI and Acer laptops. We've got two of them, and they are fantastic.

Consumer ratings are much higher for Lenovo than the other brands here. The other two who get high ratings are HP (I have an HP Omen and it is also fantastic) and Dell.

I would choose the Acer for the bigger screen. I am on my second Acer gaming laptop and have had 0 issues with either. Gave my wife my old 7th gen intel equipped one.
Acer is literally the last one I would pick. With the wife and kids, I've bought many laptops through the years, and you just are getting lucking with your Acers because they have really low quality builds.

I agree that Lenovo is probably of the higher quality.

And while normally I'm partial to Asus, I just want to note that my Asus TUF gaming laptop from a couple of years ago, the USB-C was hard-wired to the integrated graphics. I don't know if they're still doing that, but I just wanted to make note since you have a TUF on your short list, that might be something to check. I think that only affected the TUF models at some point as I recently replaced it with a Zephyrus G16 which doesn't have that limitation.

The Predator and Nitros are good. Your walmart and best buy basic specials not so much. Microcenter would not give my laptop a platinum collection moniker if it was junk.

I kicked my 2018 Nitro down to my wife when I replaced it with the Asus TUF I mentioned above. It's still running strong, but she'll be getting the TUF once I get it all set up now that I've replaced it with the Zephyrus. And then my son will get the Nitro. Although he might have to stream Steam games from his rig as it can barely run modern AAAs at 720 resolution.
