what good hardware would that be compared to the other laptop?

The other laptop has a GPU that is a step down and the 11th Gen i5. I did a little more digging, if you need more storage options then the Gigabyte should be the way to go since the Asus only has 2xM.2 slots that work with PCIe based drives. The Gigabyte has the two mentioned prior and a 2.5" drive mounting option, per the support materials. To note, the Asus only supports PCIe Gen 3 drives on the PCIe slots, the Gigabyte supports PCI Gen 4, Gen 3 and SATA. Hence why you should get the Gigabyte laptop if you can live with a slightly lower end GPU but need more storage on the go.
