Soundtracks:

Red Alert OST by Frank Klepacki is a classic, probably 'better' than his original C&C one. Mix of heavy and jazzy music, set a high bar to follow.

Civ 4—Civilization games all have great epic soundtracks, but Civ4 takes the honors with its Baba Yetu theme, the first game music to win a Grammy.

Far Cry 5 has lots of golden oldies playing on various radios etc, but Dan Romer's cult music is what elevates this.
