What's the first PC game you remember playing?

1986 - 'Gunship' on a Amstrad PC purchased at Costco.

i think it was Super Mario bros.1 on the old Nintendo. altough i remember playing another game probably during the same years but i don't know what console it was or the game name..i remember a small character moving on platforms and popping holes in grounds so that ennemies fall into the holes

IF we restrict it to just PC games, AKA IBM compatibles AKA what we use now... then I can't tell you. It might have been a golf game on a work PC circa 1995. I had a computer before that, just not a "modern" PC

First PC game I bought was Sim CIty 3000 but I had played the series before, I just didn't get my own PC until 1999.
First computer game I played? No idea... like Zloth I used them since Apple IIe days so no Idea. Wizardry sticks out... Beer panic as well, but they unlikely to be first. It was probably in 1981 though as before then I had never used a computer.

Dude I remember SimCity 3000! Man, that was super cool. But 2000 was GOATED. Maybe not graphics wise but 2000 was wayyyyy better

Sim city 2000 was my first experience of how bad EA treat customers.
I got sim city 2000 and opened the box at home only to find the disc had a crack in it.
The shop refused refund as i could not prove i had not done it.

I sent the disc to EA and got an email to say it was not faulty BUT if i wanted a replacement i could phone them with card details for another copy ???

I declined the offer so they sent me the disc back with the none existent crack still in it.

20 plus years later they are still treating customers with contempt.
