warframe bullet jump

I have returned to the game after a break of about 5 years and am currently stuck in the new war quest because i cant perform the bullet jump to get to something.

On a different thread players say hold down crouch key and press jump and this will shoot you forward .. well i tried it and cant get it to work all i do is move a few paces.

One player even suggested that if i cant do it my keyboard must be faulty.

Some other players say i must be using the wrong warframe .... they obviously have not done the new war because you cant choose what warframe you have.

1 player even said find the jet pack ???? not sure if he was just making fun of me.

I have no idea what to do .... i typed the question on warframe forum then clicked post and i just kept getting a message saying your post needs a title but i had given it one. ???

@mjs warlord I'm gonna ask a stupid question, only cause sometimes I have to do it cause my hands don't always want to work good. Have ya tried using a controller to do what ya need to do?

Sometimes I'll do that for a game then switch back to mouse and keyboard.

i cant use a controller because i have something called locking finger syndrome , many years ago when first sega machines came out my my wife got me one and had to send it back.

I just finger out a different way to get what i need to destroy the items..... throw my glaive weapon and when it hit the object press another key to make it explode but it comes back....
