Hello, I have a motherboard: GA-Z97X-Gaming-3.

What processor and graphics card are the best options that this motherboard can support to make it a gaming PC suitable for the latest games?

That is older tech and it is really not upgrade-able to meet the needs of current AAA games (at least at the highest settings).

Your budget and PSU will also impact whatever GPU you can afford.

I don't need them to run at the highest settings. I would be satisfied as long as they can run.

So what is your budget? What is the make/model of your power supply (PSU)? How much memory do you currently have in this system?

The strongest CPU choice is the Core i7-4790K.
