Hi, looking to upgrade my storage solution, i use my pc mostly for playing games and with the rising costs of hard drives and me needing to constantly manage my games (deleting and redownloading), im looking for some advice on how to upgrade, either by replacing my current SSD or just adding another one to my build.

Im from Portugal if that needs to be taken into account and my OS is Windows 11.

Thanks in advance for the help.

My current build is:

Modular Source Seasonic Focus PX-850W 80+ Platinum
Disco SSD Western Digital Black SN850X 2TB Gen4 M.2 NVMe
Processador AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 8-Core (4.2GHz-5.0GHz) 104MB AM5
Cooler CPU Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE ARGB Branco
Motherboard MSI B650 GAMING PLUS WIFI
Corsair Kit 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR5 6400MHz Vengeance Black CL36

I would look into getting a heatsink or an gen 4 drive with one, as the second slot on your board doesn't come with one, and gen 4 drives can run warm... not as bad as gen 5, but can get toasty.

Second drive won't get so bad, mine normally runs at 39c - should get plenty of airflow from front intake fans
Advantage to nvme is they can turn off when not in use. So my second drive just sits there idle most days

in theory anyway. One day my ssd will have more hours on it than my nvme but its taking its time.
