Hi. I bought a Lenovo Legion Y540 a weeo ago. It has an i7 with a GTX1650 ti graphics card in it. I thought it would be brilliant, but any time I go near a half decent game, the thing gets super hot and the fan kicks on, sounging like a jet engine. The temps I get are anywhere from 70c to high 80c. The games I was playing were Beamng.drive, hitman, and American Truck sim. Is this normal? I am contemplating returning the laptop and getting a different one. My budget is around $1100. However, I am worried that I will end up with the same result, and have another overheating laptop. What should I do? Any advice would be highly appreciated.

I have the same problem as you. At that time I took it to the service center and replaced the parts. after that all back to normal. the cost I spend is 0 because it is still in the warranty period.
