Hi,

I have recently bought a pc and installed a new gpu. Everything seemed great but after a few hours the screen flashed black for a second them came back on. This I now happened a few times. Doesn't matter if I am In a game or on the desktop.

Is this a power surge, should I reseat the gpu? I am really worried I am doing damage to the pc components. Any help advice would be greatly appreciated.

Specs are
Kolink Observatory Lite Mesh - RGB Midi Tower
AMD Ryzen 5 3500X
16GB (2x8GB) 2666Mhz DDR4.
Adata SU630 240GB SSD.
Asus PRIME B450M-A II
Gigabyte P650B - 650w.
Zotac 3060ti
M. 2 1tb

So just a few clarifying questions. Is just the monitor flashing on and off? Does it fully turn off or show that it is no longer connected for a moment? A good start would be to re-seat (unplug and plug back in) your connector (hdmi, display port, or what ever your monitor uses) The monitor is on a separate power source so it wouldn't generally be a power issue unless your computer is fully turning off as well.

Hi, I am currently using a television for a monitor. The whole screen goes black for about two seconds. I will reseat the hdmi and try a different cable.

Cheers vapour
