Probably £ pounds.
Yes sorry £2000
Have actually had been looking at some pre builds, thus the question about RTX 3060 or RTX 3070..

Did go through a build you own website script.. and came up with the following..
( pc only, using existing monitor, keyboard mice)
Intending to add KVM to swap between this and existing pc)

Proc-intel core i7 12700K CPU. 3.6 - 5.0GHz
Power supply- Corsair RM750x 80 PLUS Gold 750w PSU
Graphics card- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 12GB
Case - Corsair4000D tempered glass white
Motherboard- Gigabyte Z690 Gaming X motherboard
Cooler- Noctua NH-D14 CPU cooler
Mem- 32GB DDR4 3200Mhz Mem
M.2 PCIe SSD 500GB Samsung 980 PRO M.2 solid state
Hard Drives- seagate 1TB Barracuda 7200 RPM
Sound card - onboard high definition audio ( quite happy using on board audio)
Operating sys- Windows 11

Not interested in pretty flashing lights! 😉

How much is this build? SSD and HDD a little small, but otherwise a solid build.

Check this before you go for a hardware KVM.

Mem- 32GB DDR4 3200Mhz Mem
I'm not up on the details, but DDR5 is either available or about to be. I'd wait for it unless there's a good reason not to.

M.2 PCIe SSD 500GB
Consider a smaller SSD—say 256—for the OS and other software, and a larger one—1TB or more—for games. You can make a disk image of your initial C: drive setup to keep in case Windows blows up, and modern games can easily reach near 100GB and won't be getting smaller.

Thanks for the advice guys..
I will look at massaging my SSD and HDD devices...!

Interesting ideas on software KVM...
From that point I already use programs like VNC..etc...
Will probably stick with RTX3060 -12gig Mem

Someone did try to convince me to go Xbox X....
But it doesn’t support my HOTAS.... and that’s the important bit!😉

I'd recommend having something like the Seagate Barracuda 2TB, 7200RPM (cheap and solid) as your secondary HDD and a WD Black SN750 1TB (fast and not too expensive) as SSD. Since you want it for gaming, you will definitely love having more space for your beloved games. Hell, if you can get another Seagate Barracuda 2TB, you'll be golden for a looooong time.
