I am planning to buy an RTX 2070 Super with an I7 9700k and 16 gb of ram. How would that perform with a 27’ 144Hz 1440p resolution ? For pubg. Does the monitor size matter in that case ? Thanks for all the info !

Monitor size doesn't matter for performance, but monitor resolution does. The higher the resolution, the more load it will put on the GPU.

Check out this article for some PUBG benchmarks with modern GPUs. A 2070 Super is not listed, but you can estimate the performance as being in between a 2070 and a 2080. At 1440p and ultra settings you can expect to be averaging in the 80s with occasional drops into the 50s. If you want to hit your monitor's 144Hz refresh rate, then you'll probably want to play at 1080p at a mix of medium settings.

I guess the processer and the graphics card are amazing to play game with. And monitor size doesn't matter that much. Because I also have a computer in which I've 2 GB graphics card but a TFT monitor. And everything looks cool to me.
