Pc parts getting expensive?

last year, I built my first pc, and kept the saved part list. I have noticed my graphics card has massive price increase. Am I thinking it’s not the best, or did I find a great deal on it? Is the price gone up due to COVID?

That's part of it, there's higher demand for PCs since people started working at home more.

Re graphics cards, the main thing in play is 'scalpers' buying up supplies and then selling them for much higher than retail price.
With so many people unable to afford the higher prices, demand has also increased for older cards, so they've gone up in price too.

It won't return to normal until the manufacturers can ramp up supply to meet the increased demand. That will take a while.
