overclock ryzen 2600 with x470 motherboard

Hi All

I am planning to overclock my current ryzen 2600 to 4.2Ghz using a new asus rog strix x370 F gaming motherboard with a corsair h100 rgb AIO with a 600 watt super flower eco silver.
Will the above configuration able to achieve?

Thanks & best rgds

Hi, I'm not sure if this is the best place to ask for overclocking advice. Most of us here are gamers first and foremost.

What I can say is that your cooling more than enough and your motherboard seems decent. PSU is very important when overclocking, and yours is O.K although not stellar far as I can tell.

You should really look up guides specifically for your chip and motherboard. Remember that you cannot just copy anothers settings as your chip and board are a unique combo. You'll be doing hours of stress testing to ensure 100% stability if you do it right.

IMO overclocking these days is something you do because you enjoy the process of playing with hardware, real world performance benefits are barely worth the effort anymore. If that sounds fun to you, go for it there's a ton to learn!
