I just purchased this new Gaming laptop ASUS ROG Strix Hero III G531GW-XB74 2 weeks ago. I am getting random slowdowns/lag spikes REALLY bad. It has been happening for about a week but it seems totally random, sometimes after a cold boot, or in the middle of a gaming session. It is going from smooth fast 144 frames down to 20 and it is like stop motion. It even disconnects my Bluetooth headset or controller when the slowdowns happen sometimes.

I was playing Rocket league for about an hour (with the laptop plugged in and on a cooling pad) when this happened.
Is this thermal throttling? I caught the temps at the end of the video (also see the pic below). I was running realtemp while playing to try to diagnose the issue.
It has a 9th gen i7 and a 2070. I am just outside the 14 day return window at Microcenter of course.
