Question My pc is not booting and there is no display

I built my pc about 9 months ands it’s working the entire time with no issues. But when I installed an ASUS PCE-AC51 a red light came on my motherboard next to my cpu and there’s no display. Does anyone know what to do? I also ran the cd that came with it.

What devices are plugged into which PCIe slots?

Does it work again if you remove the card?

Ryzen 2600x
ASUS rog strix B450 f
16gb Corsair vengence ram
XFX Radeon rx 590 fatboy
I have 1tb Nvme and 1tb hdd
Corsair 650w cxm

the only thing is the pci-e slots is the PCE-AC51

Which slots are they in?

And does the PC work if you remove the Asus wifi card?

I’ll need a couple of minutes to see if it would is if I take i the gpu and the WiFi’s adapter and it’s in the farthest PCI-E slot from the top.

If you take out the GPU you won't get any display because there will be nothing to output video - your CPU/motherboard have no integrated graphics.

What I am saying is if you remove the wifi card - i.e. undo the one thing that you changed - does the PC then work?

It doesn’t work without the WiFi card I just tried it but when I take out the gpu the red light goes away

Keep the wifi card disconnected from the system

Try resetting the CMOS as per the mobo manual
