I have been everywhere looking for solutions. Tried everything I can find and nothing works. Originally I figured it was on cods end, seeing as everything was fine until season 1 update but cods trello n Twitter don't have anything about a steam specific launch problem so can anyone help me?

I have no clue about COD specifically, but have you tried verifying the installation integrity through Steam?
Right click on game in Steam list>Properties. Select 'Installed Files' in the pop-up>Verify integrity of game files.
Failing that I'd probably try fully reinstalling the game if no one else has any ideas.
