Hi,

I bought Samsung 970 Evo M.2 ssd for my laptop. I installed it. Then I downloaded my steam games on that drive. But now my games wont launch. Sekiro gave me this error

And Cyberphunk gave me this

I updated my graphics card driver. Out of curiosity, I installed another game to my original ssd where windows installed. It plays just fine. I gave all the permissions the user(which is me) for my new ssd. So any thoughts where is the problem?

I hope it is not hardware related which is the new ssd.

My specs:
  • Intel® Alder Lake Core™ i7-12700H 14C/20T; 24MB L3; E-CORE Max 3.50GHZ P-CORE Max 4.7GHZ;45W ;10nm SuperFin
  • Windows 11 Home Single Language
  • 8 GB RTX 3070Ti 256 Bit Max-P 125 Watt + 25Watt DB 2.0
  • 16GB (2x8GB) DDR5 4800MHz
  • 1TB SAMSUNG PM9B1 M.2 SSD PCIe 4.0 x4

This is really wierd. I did a format on new drive.
Interestingly, Call of Jaurez working on new drive but yet again Sekiro crashes. I will try Cyberphunk rn

Edit: Portal game plays, Call of Juarez plays but Sekiro and Cyberphunk do not. So what might be the problem? Is it game related, is it steam related or do these new games requires something from hardware that this new drive does not offer?

Edit 2: @JarlBSoD
Second solution in the video worked for me. Thank you.
