Question monitor receives no signal from computer after a few hours turning it on

I built my pc about a few months ago, everything functions well and how it should be, and these past weeks my monitor doesn't receive any signal from my computer hence I have to take out the HDMI then put it back in every time I have this problem. so i figured that maybe the ram is dusty or something, so I cleaned my computer, and the ram only then an hour later it's back, any ideas how to fix it?

So that always solves it?

Is the cable stretched, or hanging down unsupported? It could be that it works loose over time from the strain.
If you have 2+ HDMI ports on PC and/or monitor, switch the cable to other ports. A port may be a little large—ie at the limit of allowed max size tolerance—and therefore prone to looseness.

Do you have someone you could swap monitors with for a day? That would clarify if the monitor is the problem, or not.
