Monitor Random Discussion

I finally have HDR. I've wanted it for years. However, I need to calibrate it. Right now it's like waking up in Candy Land on LSD.

Love my new monitor. It's only 18.5 inches, but that's good enough considering how close I am to it. Supposedly it has "eye care" which is supposed to cause less eye strain.

I just noticed that if I want a 32 inch monitor I have to choose 4k. The biggest 1440p gaming monitors now are 27inch, which is unexceptable when I already have a 32inch 1440p screen.
I don't really want a 4k as it doesn't match my GPU as well, but then I also don't need a new monitor right now. It will just be my 2nd monitor anyway so I won't be gaming on it.

You are going to get HDR on a monitor you aren't going to game on?

Biggest monitor I've ever had was a 21 inch. No real interest in anything bigger. Heck, my 18 inch screen cost enough. It's makes pretty pictures, though.

i would probably change my mind.

Monitor can wait until I have a computer desk, as currently I don't have space for two monitors at once.
If I get 4k oled I probably look to get a new GPU after it.

Seems 1440p is the missing resolution on this one
