Mix Athlon 3000g with RX7800xt

The idea is mix a athloon 3000g whit a rx 7800xt.
I am noobie and my friend told me that is a good idea

Probably not. Its a higher end GPU and that CPU was a weaker option when it released 4 years ago. Not to mention we dont know what PSU or case you'll be using with it.

ryzen 4500/5500 will be better, they're six core with no igpu, not a two core with an igpu like the athlon. cost more, but any two core cpu is almost unusable in new games.
