Love my Corsair Gaming K95 RGB (MX-Brown) - what else compares?

I am not impressed with the new Corsair K100, but I want a new mechanical full size wired (like the gaming keys, but not necessary), prefer brown switches, need built in wrist rest, & volume controls (including mute) I had gotten front printed keycaps and I love them, so I'd like to re-use.

I've eyeballed a number of newer offerings the only one that "kind of" grabbed me is the Logitech G915X Wired ($200USD) and the ASUS ROG Strix Flare II Animate (which I can't find)

There's a couple from companies I've never tried:
Red Dragon K580 VATA RGB (but I think that's old also $60 new worries me)
be quiet! BT004US ($169.90 but I wouldn't be able to use my keycaps, boo, but not the end of the world)
Das Keyboard 5QS Smart RGB ($219)
Das Keyboard Prime 13 ($159 but I loose my keyboard volume control, and will seriously miss that)

Am I missing anything similar of quality?
Thank you!

Might want to include a link to said keycaps so people know what suggestions to avoid. Corsair did have an odd R13 layout which meant that a select few keycaps would work with their keyboards or their keycaps would work on select keyboards.

I personally use a Keychron Q1V2 with Gateron Pro Red switches and an aftermarket keycap set. The reduced layout means my mouse is closer to the keyboard. I've been on said keyboard for about 2 years and I initially thought I'd replacing the switches or perform additional mods to it, but haven't actually.

So in your instance, I'd suggest getting into a hotswappable, DIY/mod friendly keyboard and then call it a day. You could also desolder all the switches on the existing keyboard and relube them if you can't find a keyboard quite like the Corsair K95 RGB. I yet have my K65 Compact from 2 decades ago, haven't gotten around to modding it.

My 2 cents.

Red Dragon tend to not support their keyboards very long. Can be hard to find software for it after a few years

I would suggest Custom like what Lutfi said, look outside the box
He uses Keychron, I use Nuphy - can replace almost everything on them.
they tend to feel way better than Corsair keyboards... not as loud, thats for sure.
I had a K70 RGB before I swapped to current one.

you can get one that has exactly what you want... or mod them.

Thank you for the suggestions, I'll look at them, though they reminds me of a ducky... I tend to have ergonomic issues with these kinds of old school thicknesses. Def. don't like the idea of RedDragon not supporting keyboards, I tend to buy the same thing over and over and over for decades until they literally stop making them...

I'm getting the feeling upgrading my keyboard is not happening - It works just fine, but I'm upgrading the PC so I was thinking about it. Maybe if my Corsair breaks I'll look into resoldering instead.

Also, I grew up with a typewriter, I like the loud keyboard heh

Get a low profile keyboard, or at least, look at them.

one downside to corsair is if you want rgb you have to install Icue.
Current keyboard lets me change colours without any software.

i learned to type on a typewriter... too many years ago now. It never really stuck.
once you have used a quiet keyboard you realise how loud the gaming ones are.

I forgot, the one above is my 2nd Nuphy. First one died from user error

Still prefer its colour scheme but I don't really miss the number pad. Never really used it.

but I'm upgrading the PC so I was thinking about it.
My pc didn't let me think about it. I had just finished building my current PC and the keyboard stopped working. I had no choice. But as I had caused it to break, I just went back to them again as I like some things about them... I was used to layout and positioning of delete key. and their spacebar is cool https://nuphy.com/products/ghostbar

I started on the Corsair way back when they started making them and I love the feel and sound of it. The quiet ones typically feel more like sticking my fingers into saran wrap over mud than typing... I don't use the RGB so I didn't install anything.

It was all about the game keys for me, I had them setup for movement & pew pew left handed so I could right hand the trackball for visual. But since I don't have a PVP game anymore, I don't use them.

I will check into the low profile, thank you for the advice.

that description matches a membrane keyboard... you can get quiet Mechanical keyboards that would feel better than your current one, just not make as much noise. Mine has 6 layers of sound dampening material underneath the keyboard, it doesn't feel mushy to me at all
