Yea I'm sure theres ways and means, but if some things dont work and others are not as good as native then ARM based machines better be cheaper. Looking at Rosetta it seems it also doesnt work for everything either.

As I said before, I'm interested in the modularity of a gaming machine. I want to replace things piece by piece as and when needed. If they provide that with ARM parts that work universally and just as well or better than currently then I'd be happy. If they take that away I'll be disappointed, but in the end if its the only way to play games it'll just have to be that way.
I think everyone probably just wishes regular pc tech would just get a lot better. Based on the article the other day about a start-up company in the US, that may actually happen. But I didn't read it carefully enough, and I'm not sure what they are doing fits into x86 or not. Probably not. But it's exciting tech anyway.

Sorry to be so comically vague. I'll look for the actual story here in a little bit...

Among other things, like a personnel elevator that will be very useful, this update adds full controller support. While this is part of the preparation for launching on consoles, apparently it's pretty good news for people wanting to play on the Deck or other PC handhelds.

Honestly, I had no idea Satisfactory wasn't on consoles. They're going to have to add an extra vault at the headquarters for all the money. Kudos to them for staying focused on the EA PC version until 1.0. Some developers who don't launch across all platforms at once launch on PC and then you don't hear from them for 6 months to a year while they launch on consoles.
