I think everyone probably just wishes regular pc tech would just get a lot better. Based on the article the other day about a start-up company in the US, that may actually happen. But I didn't read it carefully enough, and I'm not sure what they are doing fits into x86 or not. Probably not. But it's exciting tech anyway.Yea I'm sure theres ways and means, but if some things dont work and others are not as good as native then ARM based machines better be cheaper. Looking at Rosetta it seems it also doesnt work for everything either.
As I said before, I'm interested in the modularity of a gaming machine. I want to replace things piece by piece as and when needed. If they provide that with ARM parts that work universally and just as well or better than currently then I'd be happy. If they take that away I'll be disappointed, but in the end if its the only way to play games it'll just have to be that way.
Sorry to be so comically vague. I'll look for the actual story here in a little bit...
