Question Is there a best desk for long gaming sessions?

Is there an optimal type of desk for gaming? I'm an older gamer, not in the best shape of my life, but that's a work in progress. I don't game as much as I used to these days, mainly because I already work at a desk and gaming at one is just not easy for long sessions.

So, for folks looking to do some gaming, but keep pain to a minimum, do some types/ styles of desks help avoid injury/ pain in the long run?

It's tough to trust online reviews are completely accurate, so any firsthand experience would be really apppreciated.

I think for long sessions a good chair may be more important than a desk. Now, office chairs probably are better than gaming chairs (the amount of actually good gaming chairs seems fairly limited).

The main thing for a desk I'd think is that it shouldn't be too low or high because as far as I know, every angle of your body should be at 90% (elbows, knees mainly).
I could advice a large mousemat too. Usually it's softer so your arms won't be laying on a hard desk all the time.
