Question Installing Samsung 980 SSD

Trying to install the Samsung 980 SSD and I can't figure it out. Here are my specs:

  • Ryzen 7 3800X
  • Nvidea RTX 3070
  • 24GB RAM
  • Tomahawk B450 mobo
I think the last time I tried it I had to go into the boot menu but the SSD wouldn't appear in the boot drive list so I couldn't proceed.

it won't show in boot listing as it doesn't have anything on it yet? Only drives with an operating system on them will show as a boot drive.

Have you tried running the windows installer? Does it see the nvme?

in a lot of bios, pcie drives don't show in the same place as SSD/hdd would as they aren't sata. So it might be showing on another screen. I think m.2 drives should show up on the boot/storage tab

page 30 shows how to install hardware - https://download.msi.com/archive/mnu_exe/mb/E7C02v1.4-GSE-LITE.pdf

how long you used that ram for? Ryzen CPU can be picky with mismatched ram. Is it 3 x 8gb sticks or another combo?
