I just want to clarify about RTX 5060 laptops if anyone knows...?

ok, based on numerous test, we know that it's been concluded that the RTX 4060 desktop gpu pretty have almost the same performance as the 4060 laptop, no doubt about that..

as to why it became the most popular laptop and even top steam charts etc...

anyway, moving forward, I was told the RTX 5060 laptop now share's a different story, I have read some articles saying that it's a big jump, or that it doesn't even come close to the 5060 desktop gpu, meaning it's way behind on the benchmark test and etc

I still need confirmation on this one

Not even sure about your first statement on the 4060.

Each unit has 3 different models. Being M (Mobile or laptop, LP (Low profile) and the Desktop which is the full unit. As you move down a tier (say from Desktop to LP) you pretty much go backwards. LP (Low Profile) will use less wattage, generate less heat and will be slower than it's Desktop version and the again M being the most compressed version (Smallest version) less wattage being used and less heat, again will be slower than you LP version.

What I just said is pretty much industry standard so would say that your question with regards to the rtx5060 will have the same result as the industry standard.
