So I used to build computers a while ago (Core i7 had just come out). Haven’t since then and now I have other priorities so I’ve lost track of things. But I need a new computer and am planning to build it as a cost savings.
I play old games mostly (newest one might be Mount and Blade 2 Bannerlord or Civ 6). I’m not really into newer games (no time) except I might get Jedi Survivor or Total War Warhammer 3.
I’ve been on pcpartspicker and thought the Budget AMD build was a great starting point but then I saw the sale for 5600X and now am thinking the Modest AMD build. But I don’t think I need that powerful of a GPU. Would a 6XXX work for me? If so, which do you recommend?
Below is my current parts list. I’d appreciate any and all feedback. I’d love to have the time to research all of this and not bug people but I don’t. I switched to a Montech XR case (from Fractal Design Pop Air) because it was recommended.
