So ive given it some time, im still not done with the campaign, but from the time ive had in that, zombies and team deathmatch, this is a sold Call of Duty installment. The zombies and mp maybe not so much for a lot of reasons, but the campaign is really good, id say better than the last 3 or 4 with Cold War comin in second.

I’m playing via Game Pass. Campaign wasn’t what I was looking for so I dropped it after 2-3 hours, but I’ve played a solid 10-15 hours of multiplayer, almost exclusively Team Deathmatch. It’s really good, the new movement system is a ton of fun once you get used to it, but it does require you to play very sweaty. I’ve had no issues with the movement but others don’t like it as much. It’s super fast paced and movement mechanics can be crazy or hard to pull off, but again once you get used to you and you get in the zone, it’s a really fun COD.

Campaign was great, Zombies is good, Warzone is meh (I've never been a fan to begin with, preferred Blackout in Black Ops 4, and am an Apex Legends player). I'm sure what you wanted to hear about was Multiplayer, however, and I can say that it's definitely one of the better iterations in the past several years. As a CoD veteran starting on CoD2 I would say it's nowhere near my favorite CoD, but it's a good enough game to bite into and give a try to form your own opinion. If I had to shorten my opinions:

Pros:
- Gunplay is great
- Movement is great (besides climbing/vaulting, extremely sluggish and breaks the gameplay)
- Audio is fantastic
- Camo-grind is fairly simple

Cons:
- The SBMM/EOMM is extremely violent in this game. You will never really feel as if you're improving. If you play with friends/family of a lower or higher skill level to you, whoever isn't the better one isn't going to have a good time.
- The maps are the worst of the lot of any CoD to have launched
- Killstreaks are damn near useless
