Question Help with choosing gaming laptop

  • What is the size of the notebook that you are considering? prefer a big screen (not necessary, as I'm going to use an external screen).
  • What screen resolution do you want? (I'm not sure)

• Games such as "Ships at Sea" (coming soon), WoW. I'd like the best graphics settings (highest).
  • What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.) Streaming
  • How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need? The largest the better (2 TB at least).

They are all very, very similar. I ignored the 3rd one because there was no TGP listed. Between the first two, the first one's CPU is just a little faster in game benchmarks, so I'd go with that one. Can't go wrong with any of them.

If a game were going to utilize all the cores of the last one, it might be slightly faster, but not to a noticeable degree, and that one doesn't list a TGP.

Just a couple of things to add . .... take a look at the running spec of games you intend to use , you dont want to be buying a new machine only to find out you have to put all the settings on low.

Laptops are very compact and if you have large fingers they can be awkward to upgrade parts , also , some builders are sneaky they put very fine wires on the case screws that will break as you open the machine so they will know if you have opened it to attempt something yourself.

Sometimes when you try to find out if you can run certain games instead of being shown a list of system requirements you might be asked to download a tiny program that will scan your laptop or desktop and it will tell you if you can run the game. Be very careful if you do this as their are a lot of fake " help buttons " on some sites.

They should be able to run anything on at least medium, just depending on your specific expectations for FPS. But 60 FPS on Medium will be doable on any reasonably optimized game.

Yeah, those are mild, should have no problems even on High for SaS.
