Question Graphics Freeze

I am having a problem with my gaming system.
I've been running Truck Sim faultlessly for a couple of years.
Recently when I run ETS2, I am having intermittent graphics freezes for about 6 seconds, then back to normal again.
I’m saying graphics because the audio isn’t affected.
Intermittent because there might be several in fifteen minutes or none for an hour or more.

System is:
Asus TUF Gaming Z490-Plus.
Intel i7-10700k
Corsair 2x16 GB DDR4 3200
Asus RTX 2080 Super
OS Drive is 500GB M.2
Game drive also 500GB M.2
Data drive is a 500GB HD
OS is Windows 11 24H2
Gaming monitor is Asus PG278QR
I use a Moza Truck wheel with H shifter, plus Saitek side panel.

This system is only used for gaming, so no other programs are running in the background.
However, I do run Fan Control V214 and have it open on a second monitor.
When these freezes occur, the temps are well within range.

I have the latest Bios and drivers.
OS is up to date.
I've run a memory check and anti-malware.
I have run tests on all 3 drives with HD Sentinel.
I also run tests with SeaTools and Crystal Disk Mark.
All the tests gave good results.
I have also re-seated the graphics card and memory.
None of the above made any difference to the problem.
This freeze also occurs in The Bus, but is not as noticeable.
At this point I have run out of ideas.
Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

it appears there should be a gamelog file, it might reveal any errors

does it matter where in game you are?

what power supply?

any mods used?

this sounds like yours: https://forum.scssoft.com/viewtopic.php?t=332129

I have checked the game log on several occasions after a freeze but there is never anything relevant showing.
I have also checked the Reliability History (Reli) for the same.
Also, the event viewer.

Power supply is: Coolermaster 650 Gold.

The freeze can happen anywhere. It's not consistent.

This happens on both ETS2 & ATS and there are no mods on either.

I'm thinking its graphics related.
Today I ran stress test on the graphics, but nothing showed up there.
I also went through the Nvidia Control Panel and made sure everything was set to default.
Then uninstalled everything Nvidia related except the Graphics Drivers and Control Panel.

After that I managed a clear run on ETS2 for almost an hour and no freezes.
It may not be cured but it's definitely different.
