Hello everyone , this is my second post about this problem , but now ive come to centered my problem ...

Ive tried a few games and the only two that give me an error/problem is COD MW3 and Arena breakout infinite .

Heres the problem : When i open the game everything is fine , but after a few minutes in a game (always happen in my first game ) everything goes black , then everything comes back after a few seconds , but my game crashed and my taskbar is somewhat unusable ...

i found a few error code :

first one is with Call of duty , when it crash i get a directX error : Error Code: 0x887A0005 (0x887A0006) (6068) D

Second one is when i go in my reliability history , i get this : Windows hardware error : LiveKernelEvent

ive tried many many things and managed to pinpoint the problem by switching my gpu into an other pc and that pc got the same problem ...

I bought the pc used so i cant use the warranty that came with the GPU as im not the original owner

I played many games like Gmod , WoW , battlefield and none of them had an error , only the two above..

If you have any question about anything im open !!

Heres my specs

Motherboard : Gigabyte B650 gaming x ax

CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D

GPU: AMD RX 7900 XTX Red Devil

Power supply : corsair SF850

Ram : G.Skill trident Z5 RGB 2x16 DDR5 6400 ( set to 5900)

(yes , every wire is correctly plugged :) )

thank you !!

Your PSU is under-powered for the GPU. Get a quality 1000W model and your stability should improve.

the dude who had the pc had a 750 in it , i just updated it to a 850 , and 850 is pretty close to the 900 they recommend , and wouldnt the problem be the same in all the games ? at least in all the demanding one ? i had no problem in Battlefield and we know how much its asking in term of graphics as a game

Having less than the recommended is a problem and that problem tends to show up the way you describe.

Also, all "demanding" games are different, and we really have no idea how the guy you bought the computer from was using it or if he was telling you the truth.

How much power did the other PC you tested it in have? Less than 900 I'm assuming.

Try limiting the Frames Per Second in the games your having trouble with. If you run them without doing this it's probably going to max out your GPU and that might cause power spikes that could cause crashes.

Check if your GPU is not overheating. In addition, drop your framerate to use less power. There is a big "argument" about FPS with regards to what the human eye can process. So far (by several experts) 115 FPS at 140Hz is the most the human eye can detect. anything past that is non-detectable to the human eye but then fools the brain into thinking there is a difference.

anything 20FPS and up makes the graphics seem to flow. If you are not that keen on the FULL immersive experience, then limit you FPS to 60 at 60Hz. This will place less strain on your GPU. If the problem, persist you might have to start bench testing to see where the problem comes from.

I do think there is a difference between what the human eye can process and the smoothness of the game. The reason, as I understand it, that pro players use higher settings (FPS/HZ) overall is because of the smoothness when doing something like flick shots and tracking. The difference is most likely very little, as you point out, but that difference would be one of the many things that makes a pro able to kill a full squad in CSGO.

It is actually a huge debate all over atm. I do not think there will ever be an exact result for it. Most of what I have read is that at a certain point it is not a visual difference but an immergence difference or more effecting the brain than the eyes.

I have been following many of the forums with regards to this and no one has given an exact result to it as yet. But I agree it can be the difference between you and a full squad.
