It always depends on what you use it for right? :p for 4k not a good build i would say. For 1080p gaming and office very solid. But jokes aside
I did some extensive research over the past week. I was helped alot by forum members especially Oussebon.
Was looking for a decent but relatively cheap PC for mainly Dota 2 gaming and office use. I ended up with almost the same parts you chose. I read that ryzen 3600 scales very well with 3600 mhz ram thats why i bought these. Case is always a matter of taste. For the 1660 super It took some time for me to decide. I was reading several reviews. There are so many models.... I ended up with one of the more expensive ones they had a good deal. The TUF is very solid and massive and i hope it lasts some time. Furthermore i was looking for one with a DVI as I have an old Screen. If you have anymore questions regarding my built feel free.
Regarding the efficiencey of the power supply it depends on how many hours your pc is running every day. The more it runs the earlier a Gold one pays off due to saved energy. Thats how I understood it at least...
BR

Maybe my post is also of some help LINK

What can my build run? I'm going to be running modded minecraft with shaders and and an other variety of games. Is there a way you could give me a example of some games I could run with this build? And you're right, our builds are very simular.

I guess all games should be possible in ultra setting with 1080p. 1440p should also run smoothly although maybe not in Ultra for very new games. And as far as I know it also depends on the hz settings of the monitor. But maybe someone more knowledgeable can give you a more detailed answer.

Apologies for the unfinished message, I didn't expect you to reply that quickly and accidentally posted the reply. But thank you nonetheless, you helped me a lot, as I am a first time PC builder.

As a suggestion it might help to post updated builds for feedback in your original topic, because then we can see all the previous discussion including budget, what the build will be used for, etc etc :)

The only thing I'd question about the build is the power supply.

You're spending over $80, which means you could get a more efficient one for the same kind of money.

e.g.

or for a little more

@Oussebon
Thank you, you've helped me a lot over the past 2-3 months. Sorry for all the posts asking relatively the same question. I'm kinda young and I've been wanting to build a pc for first time, just trying to move from ps4 to pc. But I've been educating myself about pcs, trying to find a good build, and saving up. Again, thank you for helping me a lot. :p

I just wondered whether you felt the build was about finalised and you were ready to go ahead and get it, or whether you'd be exploring more options first? That's all, it was just conversational
Idk if should still be replying lol, but yeah I think I'm going ahead with that one. Just need to get the money.
