thx but is there any other way to do it rather than have to download something?
all the programs do is look at windows details...
If its an OEM PC (made by a company) or a laptop, you can sometimes find the info by searching online... as most will have a spec sheet. Just need make/model code.
You can search for "System Information" in windows, it can show you some of it
And you can right click the start button and choose Device manager and go through it one line at a time
Combo of these two things will tell you what you have.
No software can tell you what power supply you have (there are exceptions, some PSU have programs for them, but majority don't). You have to open case and look (unless its a laptop)
To Identify ram sticks: (on windows 10, this won't work in win 11)
Open Command Prompt (Admin)
Type the following command and press Enter:
wmic memorychip get devicelocator, manufacturer, partnumber
The output will list details for each installed RAM stick, with the manufacturer listed in the "Manufacturer" column. Note that sometimes the output might show the manufacturer of the actual memory chips (e.g., Hynix, Micron, Samsung) rather than the brand name on the sticker of the full module (e.g., Corsair, Kingston)
On windows 11,
Right click start
choose Terminal (Admin)
If it opens as Command Prompt, click the drop down arrow in title area and select Powershell
copy/paste the following command and press enter: (I find just copying and clicking in the line after the prompt will paste it)
Get-WmiObject Win32_PhysicalMemory | Format-Table Manufacturer, PartNumber, Capacity -AutoSize
