Looking to buy my first gaming laptop priorities are, smooth game play obvs, no lag etc budget of around £600 uk ...tyia.

For £600, you're looking at budget options. Aim for an RTX 3050 or equivalent, at least 8GB RAM (16GB is better), and an SSD. Check out Acer Nitro 5 or Lenovo Legion 5 - offer good deals around that price.
