That first game I posted? I was reading reviews and some guy had over 7000 hours in it. Not sure if there is some way to game the system with that other than just leaving your computer on it for 7000 hours. But several other people had over 100 hours.

There's no way anyone has played that game for more than an hour or two at most. As far as I can see the hours are tracked by Steam, so you can't just set them to whatever you want, but there are tools that can make Steam think the game is running 24/7. They are apparently mostly used for farming those Steam cards you get from playing a game.

Yeah, it became even more obvious when I went to his profile and he had thousands of hours in every game on his account.

What's weird to me is that people who already knew the game was terrible are buying it on Steam and then downvoting it.
