Forever Winter

Needs more work, although it is in early access so that might happen still

You need a ssd at least, to play this game. I feel that goes without saying these days.

No, just a game preview.

Seems its netcode needs work

Everything is either red or dark, guess it is a war.

"You get a message that all of the world's nukes are launched and you only have time to grab a single game to play for the rest of your life in the nuclear winter, which game do you pick?"
I don't want to play that game

Hope no one forgets the only winning move.

Funny thing is if they remade that movie, the speed of computers is so much faster now that, that scene wouldn't take place. WOPR wouldn't need that long to work out the answer. Even if it wasn't AI.

Requiring an SSD is pretty standard these days for smooth gameplay. I'm curious to see how the developers enhance the game as they receive feedback. The concept of battling gigantic war machines while surviving with a squad sounds intriguing! Have you had a chance to try out any of its co-op features yet? I’m an international student, and sometimes I struggle with academic writing in English. I found essayroo.org while looking for essay help online, and I’m so happy with their service! The writer they matched me with was very professional, and the paper was flawless. I loved how they kept me updated throughout the process, and the quality of the writing was fantastic. If you’re looking for reliable academic help, give them a try!
One of the best parts of MGS4 was the sneaking through an active warzone. It felt like a massive step back it being missing from MGS5, it was a perfect environment for it. Russians vs Mujahideen, asymmetrical warfare etc. I remember seeing a mod made for Far Cry 2 where it implemented the "Civil War" between the two factions.

Edit (I forgot to say): Impressive how fast this game rolled out into early access after they released their trailer. Hopefully they commit more time to polishing it out. Game has soul and developers that care, they just need to grind a bit more.

I know this is old, but you know I play a lot of early access games and follow a bunch that I'm interested in, and it seems to me that games that launch into early access in a bad state never improve that state through EA. They add things to the game and fix a few bugs, but never make the game actually good.

It seems to be an attitude problem. If you have the attitude that you are going to release garbage into early access, that's not a good sign. Also, these developers have a long history of ignoring user input, which is supposed to be a big part of early access.

That's painting with a broad brush, and I'm sure there are some redemption stories out there, but I'm having a hard time finding them unless you count things like Cyberpunk 2077 and No Man's Sky as having been early access games.
