First ever Gaming/Steaming PC Build (2.5k USD Budget)

Hi, I'm Jackson this is my first ever PC build now right now I'm trying to make a shopping list of parts for my first PC. What should I buy that is good in performance and cheap in price or something that won't throw me off budget.

Are you intending to self build, or get a prebuilt / custom build where someone else has built the system for you?

Do you have a monitor? If so, what resolution and refresh rate is it?

If you need a monitor, is that within the $2500 budget? or is there a separate monitor budget?

How urgent is the purchase? / when are you planning to buy?

What kinds of games are you looking to play, and at what sort of settings?

I love listing parts and doing builds, but I can stress enough the importance of doing some research yourself. Build a PC subreddit. Paul's hardware is a great start. He always lists some good current builds in different price ranges. Linus is always fun to watch for some PC knowledge . I hope this will help you get an idea of where to start... Happy building
