Hi, so I'm build myself a new PC and before I pull the trigger I'd like the opinions of the experts in here. Here is what I've chosen so far:
Basically I want to be sure that those components are well balanced, or at least compatible. Any opinions welcome... thanks!

Hi! General comments : if its for gaming you can drop down to the 7800X3D for slightly better overall performance, use the extra money to step up to a 4070 Super or 4070TI if its enough. Its possible you could get a cheaper CPU cooler that would work just as well.

Check the RAM is optimized for AMD EXPO and not just Intel XMP, and make sure you pick up a good quality power supply. Theres a lot of decent options and the best is dependent on local pricing.

Its a decent looking build but impossible to tell if its the best for the money without knowing your budget and country, is you could list that information then someone may be able to come up with something even better.

If your primary uses include gaming then there's much cheaper options for your cpu and motherboard. What country are you located, what is your budget, what will be the primary uses of your PC and if they include gaming what is your resolution?

Thanks for the replies! To answer the questions, the build will be used for gaming (+general purpose). I will be playing on 1440p but it may not be long before I move to 4k. I live in Belium. I don't have a fixed budget, but I don't want to go crazy and spend money for the sake of it.

Thanks for the tip on the 7800X3D, after doing some research I will follow your advice and also go for the 4070TI.
For the ram I checked about AMD EXPO and it is compatible.

About the MB, yeah, I'm pretty clueless, I thought I was being reasonable considering there are some much more expensive ones. :)

Unless you want Nvidia specific features, I would go with a 7900xt. They are typically similar in price, and faster.
