Hey everyone! I just tackled Hell Divers on difficulty level 10 and wanted to share a quick recap. We equipped a flamethrower pistol and Commando rifle; while the flamethrower was visually impressive, it didn’t perform well against large groups. Our major challenge came when an Impaler appeared, nearly wiping us out and pushing us to use every resource we had. We had to constantly adapt our strategy, shifting between different weapons and tactics. The Commando rifle and heavy bombardments proved crucial, though the flamethrower was less effective. After several attempts, we managed to extract the valuable mutated egg, making all the effort worthwhile. Level 10 is incredibly tough and demands excellent teamwork, but the satisfaction of overcoming it is unmatched. Give it a shot if you’re up for a challenge! Thanks for reading—feel free to share your own tips or experiences in the comments.

So my typical loadout for bugs is the Cookout shotgun which shoots incendiary rounds (new in the latest warbond) and it replaced the auto-shotgun incendiary because of its higher dps, then Incendiary impact grenades (good for groups of small bugs) and the machine-gun pistol. Ive used the flamethrower pistol and its just not useful at all at difficulties 9 and 10.

Stratagem wise i always bring the orbital laser and either the 380 or 120 mm barrages. Then i either do the orbital precision strike or a turret (auto cannon or gatling for bugs) and have at least 1 weapon for bugs. My choices are either the autocannon, spear, commando or the heavy mg. Depends on what i feel like.

When they officially release the orbital napalm, that will probably replace barrages or the laser since barrages are amazingly strong.

For the booster. I either bring the radar confusion or the stim enhancer. The confusion one increases times between bug encounters (great for difficulty 10) so less patrols just running at you every second and the stim enhancer because it gives you amazing speed to run away, while it heals you lol.

As for my thoughts, the game is mad fun overall and HD2 is a staple in my rotation, but can get repetitive especially if you have everything purchased and are at max on all money and sample collecting. Its easily more fun with 4 though. Its also frustrating sometimes when in the heat of battle because of various bugs and ragdoll effects.

Imo, right now, Helldivers 2 is in a dire spot, but, according to the latest news from Arrowhead, a huge patch is set to go live on Sept. 17th. Hopefully bringing back the dmg numbers a lot of stuff had prior to the last patch. I still give it a thumbs up and stream my game play. its a family event sometimes too! Ie, my wife and son are also helldivers
