Error preventing from installing Origin

I'm having an error while installing Origin: "The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCP140.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem (which it doesn't)"

Apparently it's not a problem with Origin, but an issue with you not having those files, they are found in the Visual C++ Redistributable that you can get from Microsoft.

Yes, as @Zloth stated, get it directly from Microsoft. I probably should have posted the link to it, though it is in the Origin forum. Here's the Microsoft link from the forum:

The video was more of a visual tutorial, as some folks prefer videos to reading.

I'm pretty sure it's an optional download because different programs use different versions of it. Usually a decent program will include the DLLs in the installation.

Correct. Just checked, I have 18 different versions of it installed.
