Elektronics rp15 g2 or m15r7

Hey guys im at a crossroads. I bought a used m15r7 1440p 240hz with 3070ti, i7 12700h and 32gb ram and 500gb ssd. It came out to 1400 canadian.

I found another laptop its an elektronics rp15 g2

4070, 16gb ram, 500ssd, 1440p 165hz with a r7 7840hs. Itll come out to 1600.

Is it worth the price and return the alienware for this.

I dont know that company but i hear its decent.
Alienware is working strong. I think the alienware is 400 nits and the rp15 g2 is 350nits and lower hz 165 vs 240hz.

The ram id need to add 16gb for a total of 32. The ssd im ok with 500gb.

Do you know what the TGP is for both systems? It probably isn't worth it. There's almost no difference between the 3070ti and the 4070 in laptops, at least as far as traditional rendering goes, plus you have to upgrade the RAM on the new one. But the TGP might tell a different story.

What types of games are you looking to play and do you want to do anything else like video editing?

Tgp for m15r7 is 125 + 15 dyn boost

Rp15g2 is the exact same.

Mainly the call of dutys. Just getting back into it. No editing just gaming.

If the TGPs are the same, keep what you have. You won't notice a difference in performance, and you won't need the 4070's frame gen for call of duty PvP.
