Does anyone know why i got this message while playing helldivers 2?

It would just happen when I closed the game, bur now it's happening while in playing the game, and then it crashes.

First thing you do with any game on Steam is to verify the integrity of the game files. Short of that, the most likely problem is that it's simply a bug in a new game.

However, if it isn't one of those, the most likely problem is corrupted system files. I would start by trying a simple reboot. If that doesn't work, then shut the system down and leave it off for a few minutes and then start it again. Next you could try scanning with a system file checker from the Command Prompt. As a last resort, you could do a clean reinstallation of Windows.

Other problems it could be would be malware or failing RAM, etc. so before you go so far as reinstalling Windows, I would check for those problems.

Did you get from Steam?
How does your PC compare with game's System Requirements?
What brand of RAM?

Some general things to try, if Zed's suggestions haven't solved it:

• System Restore
• Safe Boot, then launch game without launching anything else.
• Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool
• sfc /scannow ["system file checker" above]

if win 10,

1. right click start button
2. choose powershell (admin)
3. copy/paste this command into window:
4. Repair-WindowsImage -Online -RestoreHealth
5. and press enter
6. Then type SFC /scannow
7. and press enter
8. Restart PC if SFC fixes any files as some fixes require a restart to be implemented
9. First command repairs the files SFC uses to clean files, and SFC fixes system files
10. SFC = System File Checker. First command runs DISM - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/manufacture/desktop/what-is-dism?view=windows-11

If windows 11,
right click start
choose Terminal (Admin)
If it doesn't open as powershell, click the drop down arrow in the title header

and pick it from the list
Follow the top listing from number 3.
