CSGO Help!!

Hi all,

This been bugging me for a while now, my csgo fps drops constantly from 250fps to 180fps with the below specs and something shuttering as well - Is this normal as I was specting something like 400+fps constantly.

Please let me know if I forgot to add something that might help.

PC SPECS:
Windows 11 PRO
Monitor: Benq XL2430T DP cable
CPU (overclocked)
CPUTEMP (average 50C while on csgo)
MB: Gigabyte Z370 Aorus Gaming 3 ( XMP PROFILE ENABLED)
Memory: Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4 3600 MHz C18 Memory
PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G3, 80 Plus Gold 750W
GPU: GPU ASUS RTX 2080 8GB (overclocked)
Power Option: High Performance
Cooling: Corsair Hydro 100i RGB Platinum, Hydro Series, 240 mm Radiator (Dual ML PRO 120 mm RGB PWM Fans
Drisk Drivers

Late on this one sorry, welcome!

Have you tried setting the CPU back to stock clocks, and does the stuttering or FPS improve then ?

Done a clean install of GPU drivers and on latest system BIOS?

Are you able to monitor CPU clocks using MSI afterburner OSD or something similar while you are gaming?

Your motherboard doesnt appear to have the greatest VRM for sustaining a 5 GHZ overclock at over 1.4v. Could be throttling. Did you do any stress testing to test whether it was fully stable before playing the game?
