So a friend of mine purchased a Corsair Xeneon Edge for me (latest stream gives a shoutout to him, sorry about the mic sound) as a token of appreciation for helping him out with something earlier in the year. I had been looking at this small-form touch screen monitor to supplement having a big 2nd monitor on my desk that was really only being used for streaming stuff like having my obs up, twitch chat etc.
Some pics to follow, im not giving a review because i still have to utilize it to its full potential. But so far, ive set up widgets and twitch chat, spotify and of course GPU/CPU temps fan speeds etc.
I have physically removed my second monitor to really see if i can do that. Eventually i will get a mount and have this mounted next to this monitor and create more of a minimalist-streamer set up.
My only concerns right now is that it A. It, in-fact, wont replace a monitor but just be an extra monitor on the desk, and B. The font size of twitch chat/chrome etc.
I dont have terrible eyesight but i dont have laser vision either so i fear if i look at something on it while multitasking, or streaming, i wont really be able to see it without some kind of weird font setting that will probably mess with other stuff on my pc.
But as a way to display stats, quick access to apps etc. its pretty smooth. You can have a bunch of pages to scroll through and you can switch between the widgets and desktop. You can also set up a button to shut down your pc.
Follow up will come. Anyone else interested or have one of these???
