I would be grateful for any feedback, feel free to comment on whether it would do well in fps games like Apex and CS; I am a casual competitive shooter enthusiast so i don't care much about fps. (as long as it can give me avg 240 fps on 1080p and low settings)​

I would look at the AMD Ryzen 7 5700X. That cpu runs cooler and is usually less expensive than the 5800X.

Thanks for the reply, but in terms of editing i know that it is mainly the core count that matters, but i'm more of a casual editor so 8 core gets the job done. Anyways I guess the real question is, does it really matter whether I switch over from the Ryzen 7 5800X to 5700X in terms of editing?
